Annoying things ruining good things

Do you ever find something you like is ruined by something you don't such as a great song sung by someone you can't stand or a great tv programmes with someone who gets on your nerves in it?

I quite like the Ordinary Boys song but that Preston bloke irritates me so much on the video it puts me off the song!

Mariah Carey springs to mind as well.

I think a good example of what you mean is the remaking of old movies. Compare the remake of "Cape Fear" to the original one......Terrible.

Very occasionally I'll get a real craving for a Big Mac (yeah, I know!)... I always forget that sliced Gerkin hiding in there.. as soon as I taste it the whole thing is ruined and has to go in the bin...

...not an entirely bad thing many would say...

Snagged you're back :) if you ask them they will leave the gerkins out and make it special for you, well they should do, I used to work in Burger King and we used to take out and add all sorts for people.

I quite like the look of the film Dreamgirls - but I can't stand Beyonce or Eddie Murphy (both major parts in the film) so I can't watch it!!!!
