tonsilitis...

owwwww..... so I have been hacking like a good'un with a chest infection, which I have had antibiotics for but now I seem to have developed tonsilitis on top, whilst on the antibiotics. Normally I can cope, but my left tonsil is practically closing my throat up and seems to have spilt down the middle. Any ideas on what to gargle to soothe this pain.... not warm saltwater.

awwww, sweetie :-( I think warm water with honey and a good shot of something with alcohol in will help sooth the pain although I wouldn't gargle it just sip it slowly and enjoy the pain killing effect of the incohol lol.....
I think gargling would hurt too much :-(
add a couple of decent painkillers and bobs your uncle sore throat just in the background :-)
