i want clip in hair extentions

iv got the same hair style as victoria beckham at mo but its starting to grow and it looks really untrendy because im growing it out of style as anyone had clip in hair extentions with short hair? as this would help me alnog with growing it, would it look silly and also what would i do about the short bits (there about 2 1/2 cm short at back i cant imagin it to look good, thanks in advance x

my friends had her hair cut to a simular cut as yours and is also growing it out, and she borrowed my hair clip and it looked ok when she clipped it all up but it looks stupid when its all down as the layers go from super short n then they dont carry on..but as i said it looks ok when shes put it up.eva though she has about 100 clips in her head haha.
