It's a question of balancing the benefits that you experience against any side effects you have. If the balance doesn't work then stop the medication - but under the supervision of your GP.

I hope you get better soon. If you are concerned telephone your doctors and request a phone call from your doctor, this way you don't have to make another trip there.
Tell your doctor your concerns and ask about the medication interacting with the others. They should not have given you anything that can not be taken with your other medication.
If not you can ring NHS direct they might be able to of some help.

My hubby was prescribed something very similar a few years back, he was worried about the side effects and spoke to his sister who is a nurse. basically she gave the same advice as the other posts and said side effects tend to be rare but if you do experience any refer straight back to your doctor who should be able to provide an alternative. Try not to worry and hope you are soon feeling better.
