Hi all. I'm sure I must sound like a complete hypochondriac but after having read several articles about ovarian problems I wondered what peoples opinions would be. I've been experiencing lower abdominal and lower back pain , bloated stomach, heavy periods, tiredness and having difficulty losing weight. Its worrying that ovarian problems are not usually diagnosed until they are well established. I dont want to have to bother my GP but what would you do ?

You're obviously concerned about all the symptoms you've been having Lainie, so it would be best to make an appointment to see your GP - if only to put your mind at rest.

You should never worry about 'bothering' your GP - that's what they are there for & paid for!

Good luck & let's know how you get on.
OMG lainiej now i think that i have that because i have all those symptoms too,
i just thought i had ibs or allegies/intolerance or something.
I have been putting off going to the doctors and i am not usually a hypochondriac either.

I know youre right smudge I should really go to the docs. I suppose when we have busy lives these things get pushed to the 'things to do later' pile. Especially when the pains etc arent present.
Thanks for that sunflower...will you go to the docs do you think ?
I've been going to Slimming World for over 2 yrs and have lost 2 1/2 stone but recently have put half a stone back on for no apparent reason. I reckon its that that has me wondering.
Thanks both of you for your posts x x
