My husband packed in the fags last Sunday,bless him hes a bit tetchy and contemplating rolling up the patches and smoking them, can anyone help?

He needs something to chew on, offer him lots of gum or a big bag of gummy sweets. Keep him distracted with these for the next couple of days and he'll be quiet and forget all about cigarettes by next week.

Seriously, I remember when my husband packed up smoking - he was a bit tetchy for a while too, but it was worth putting up with as he hasn't smoked for donkeys years. His annual bouts of bronchitis, along with all the irritating coughing, eased in no time too!
