I saw a glimpse of a programme the other night about Siamese twins that were adult and had chosen not to be separated and I just was curious about a couple of things.

1. Do they have one or two sets of genitalia?

2. If one of the twins were to have an 'adult' relationship, would the other twins feel anything?

I didn't see that particular programme, Pink ~ I would imagine that all the Qs you ask are dependant on the type of joining..

Hi Pip. I didnt get to see the actual programme - I just caught a snippet of the trailer but it was 2 adult female twins and it just got me thinking.....
If it's the same program I saw, they were female conjointed twins, and they actually share a whole body, with two heads. So to answer your question, I'm pretty certain that they both feel anything that their body goes through......The mind boggles, really...

Now Im REALLY curious!
Hi Pink ~ I just found this link, which explains the different types of conjoined twins.

Was it Abigail & Brittany in the clip you saw? their case is highlighted here :o)

What amazes me about Abigail & Brittany is the fact that they have two very independant brains but their hands & legs move in unison to perform tasks ~ despite both of the girls having no feeling on the opposite sides.

Did you read that they want to one day get married and have children??!

How can that possible work out!
The 'original siamese' twins Chang & Eng Bunker married and had children ~ I think one of them was father to 11 kids ~ but they were joined in such a way that nowadays would prove a simple operation..only a small piece of tissue joined them, I think?

However this is a different case entirely!

Good god - I will have to Google that one!
Okay, so they are both separate people who have to share the same body. So let's assume they both meet guys and want to settle down. These would have to be pretty open-minded men, don't you think?

Sharing the marital bed an' all...

Eeeeeeeewww!!!!
Hi PinkFizz......I watched the programme and it was very interesting...
They seemed very well adjusted and were well liked at school and had lots of 'protective' friends..
They have shyed away from letting the medical proffession 'examine' them and do tests...But as you can imagine the doctors are itching to investigate...So because of this little is know medically about them....
They each controled their own side of the body but managed to co-ordinate hand movement and walking, almost without thinking.. They had learnt to drive and had to take 2 tests as legally they are considered as 2 individual people...Driving was a feat in itself...
If it is shown again I think it is worth watching ...
