Why don't we bring home say 1000 troops and put them on the streets of south londay and go and hunt these gang members down like they do with Bin Ladin and his mob. That will show these wanna be who the real law is. They should also have the license to kill on sight anyone with a firearm. Watch the number of people with guns disappear. Thoughts?

The re-training would be enormous. Soldiers are trained to kill. The police are very highly trained over a long period and at great expense, but they often slip up nowadays. I would be worried.

Well at least on discharge all the gang members would have a much better idea of how to care for their weapons, good body targets to aim for, a rudimentry unarmed combat skill and be so much fitter!

'Trained to kill' grunty, it is obvious that you have no knowledge of the British Armies, Rules Of Engagement. in most cases If they kill then they are charged with Murder, like a common murderer.

Ask that poor lad that I believe is still languishing in prison for killing an occupant when firing at a car that had just crashed through his border checkpoint control. Yet had he not taken action and the car had happened to be a car bomb, then he would still have been in serious trouble.

This country could not bear the cost of what you are suggesting - although I agree with your sentiments.
My colleagues in arms endured hours of stone throwing AND SOME SNIPING before they were allowed to do what they had been trained for.. They called it Bloody Sunday, and the British tax payer is still paying for it.

I'am not worried about the armies training they are ment to kill. These youth don't carry guns as afashion accessory!!! The people don't have any power on the streets as they are not armed and it time to sweep the streets clean and bag up all the crap. How many more innocent people have to die before we wake up in this country. As soon as you have a gun in your pocession then the Army/police have the license to kill on sight simple. People wouldn't carry guns then. PS also ban toy guns cause it won't be long before some stupid kid in one of these gangs get killed .
