Honey versus Sugar

Is honey any less fattening than sugar? I have a sweet tooth and I'm trying to lose weight. I enjoy herbal tea and worry that the spoonful of honey I put in might not be helping. Help!

Sugar is all sucrose. Honey has very little sucrose, but a large amount of the plant sugar fructose, plus glucose. Some people will say that fructose sugars are better for you than sucrose sugars.
