bites

i was bitten 2 weeks ago 3 times on my ankle, i dnt no where the bites came from as they were a bit like mosquito bites but i hvnt been out anywhere to get the bites. after them bites went another one came on the exact same ankle in near enough the same spot.
any ideas what this could be thanks x

If you're anything like me then blood-sucking insects love you! I rarely notice when I'm actually bitten, but react really badly to bites and these are usually around the ankle area and even if I don't scratch them they end up looking worse than they actually are.

I'd suggest you start using insect repellent just below the knees to keep them at bay.

Fleas usually bite round the anckle area. Has anyone you know or work with got cats???

Sounds like fleas - my cat has had them in the past and the bits are always round the ankles. Now he gets treated regularly!

I'm afraid it sounds very much like fleas. Sometimes they go for clean people, but mostly they reside on dirty skin-quite the opposite of nits.

If you would like to get rid of them, I can tell you the lotion I used to get rid of mine.
