Size zero men
48 Answers
The new craze is size zero men. There are women out there who will only consider dating super-thin men. One woman enjoys seeing her man's hip bones jutting out of his boxers. These men are not starving themselves to be skinny they claim, instead they remain so slim naturally. What do you think? Do you think super-skinny men are attractive or do you like a bit of brawn? Do you think 'size zero' men will catch on?

I think this trend is linked with the "emo" youth culture. I see the lads hanging around in central Kingston upon Thames, wearing drainpipes and chatting to the "emo" girls. I saw two of these lads shopping (or browsing) in New Look the other day. It's definitely happening, whatever people say.
Personally I feel sorry for young men, who until now have at least been able to avoid the pressure that women are under to limit what they eat. It is all part of a conspiracy by the food companies to sell us "diet" foods. I hope that any young man who reads this will think again before he decides to aim for this look.

I suppose ugly twigs like Pete Doherty (anyone heard of this druggie? he has a famous girlfriend...) may have started this craze, if it really is true? but I really don't understand what kind of women would like stick thin, bony looking men, possibly thinner than them??
I suppose being around a bony man would mean a lot less cooking to do every day so I can see maybe one benefit. But bony people on the whole, especially men, is a disgusting sight overall so no, I don't think it will catch on at all (among the non-druggie male population, at least).

this is an old "craze" - remember the trainspotting look in the mid 90's... i was super slim then (wasn't a great look but weighed in at about 9 stone lowest was 8 and a half - which is really scrawny for a 5'9" lad) - well following that film i became sort of fashionable and wore the tight t-shirts that showed off my ribs etc lol
anyway - fashion is circular and lots of the emo and indie looks seem to be coming back in... definitely loads of super thin men in that scene
at the moment i don't think men have the same sort of body pressure that appears to worry women, but i feel that this might be changing for a minority... anyway not a big problem i shouldn't think
me and my beer belly are glad you seem to like the bigger guys these days girls as i am happily many stone heavier now

I truley hope this does not become the trend. I myself do not fancy the men who are super thin. However, if that is your "natural' build and frame type, there are obviously a lot who do fancy that shape for their man. I am not one of them! I, like a few of the ABers, like my men BIG! (not to be taken the naughty way...)
