Step mothers.

Has anyone had a card/present from their step children, even if their 'real' mother is still in their lives.

not a step mother ...but i gave my "Step Mum" a card ,my "real" Mum is still in my life :o)

I recieved a lovely text from my stepdaughter. last year she was staying with us for the weekend and I got a card & pressie, but this year she wasn't so she sent the text as it has to be a secret from her mum..ridiculous I know.

I didn't expect anything as she has just turned 14 and in 'selfish' mode, lol. It was a lovely surprise and I felt very moved that I was thought of :o)

My mum gets some from her step daughters and on fathers day I send a crad to my step dad. He didnt marry my mum till I was 23 but I couldnt ask for a kinder step father.

No, and i wouldnt want one either, her Mum is her Mum and we arent that close, in fact i dont even get a birthday card so a mothers day card would really be pushing it wouldnt it??? lol

i don't have a stepmum, but i do have a stepdad and i always send him a card on fathers day, i just think i'm very lucky i have two dad's!

my 2 step daughters called yesterday...........totally unexpected with a card each, didnt say 'To Mum' or 'Your like a Mother to me' or anything like that, just Especially For You on Mothers day! Made my day too, and there 18 and 21

My son's ex sent me the sweetest email, thanking me for being the mother she needed when her real mum wasn't able or willing to be. A lovely thing to do, especially since she and my son split up some time ago. She is doing a great job raising their two children and it is so nice that we are still close, even though we haven't been able to see each other as often.
