Can anyone explain the technique for removing/replacing a nose stud with a U shaped back? I heard if you do this wrong it can be very painful? Thanks!

i have a nose stud but mine has a L shaped back . not sure what one you mean ?
ifs it l shaped you pull til it stops bend then pull again, if its a curly back than you twist it like a corkscrew.
my nose piercing smells . i clean it but it smells rotten. sorry kaz for taking over . had it done about 5 years ago
OMG..... that doesnt sound right, I had mine done 15 yrs ago and never had a problem with it, I can leave jewellry out for months and just pop it back in, I would have thought your body doesnt like it so much.
really what do you think i should do i dont want to take it out cos i really like it do you clean your s with anything
its not sore or anything but just smells yuck . do you change your stud .
Hi Kaz, I have a u shaped back on my stud, and they are quite awkward and fiddly to get in and out. sometimes i accidentally pull it out (very easily) and just cant get it back in , but with perseverance it goes. Other times it just goes in easily. Put a little blob of baby oil in the hole with a cotton bud to help it glide in easier. Hope you manage it hun.
If you google 'nose studs' there are a few companies on there that explain how to fit the ones they sell. Mine is drom a site that sell diamond nose studs so try that site.
Sleepyj, I dont clean mine with anything lol ever. I am extraordinarily lucky with piercings and never have rejection problems.MAybe you just fiddly with it too much.
