Have tried it once or twice and it certainly does what it says on the tin. I agree with the people in the article who say it could become addictive, thankfully me and my partner are happy with our sex life so we dont feel we need it. That's not to say I will never take it again ;)
It was developed as a cure for impotence so obviously designed with men in mind, but it was soon discovered that it had a similar effect on women with regards to vasodilation in the genitals. It is contraindicated in people who have hypotension, recent stroke, unstable angina, and previous myocardial infarction. The risks are no higher to women than men, and like all drugs, it has possible side effects.
