I was playing my Sims game last night, and I decided to buy a pet. So I bought a lovely caramel coloured Chow Chow (http://www.planet-pets.com/Chowchow.jpg) but then I was stuck for a name to give it.

After about 10 seconds I realised there was only one name I could give him.... OCTAVIUS!!

So there you go. Octavius is now immortalised as my virtual dog in my computer game!!

Which of your fellow ABers would you like to immortalise and how would you do it?

I want a statue of Wardy in Trafalga Square
How cute is that Chow Chow though??
It looks like a little cuddly bear!

I adore Chow Chows, melons! They're fairly big, powerful dogs and I fell in love with them when I was a little girl and I thought it was a lion! They're great family dogs; loyal and good guard dogs. And they have blue tongues!

Very expensive though. Hence why I only own a virtual one. :'o(
I have a friend who owns 3, they smell a lot (and not just with their noses) and they need a lot of grooming. Much like Octavius, although playing with your "sims" and thinking of the O after 10 seconds is really rather flattering.. So, I immortalised an ABer in a song in wot I almost writ last week in a moment of enlightenment (basically nicked a song and made a couple of tweaks). Cant beat a bit of tweaking.

Imagine hill-billy barn dancers chewing straw and playing the fiddle and, sort of Oh Brother Where Art Thou..

I met Champagne by the old barn door
I know just what she was waiting for
up in the hay-loft where the oil lamp flickers
I lost my heart and she lost her mobile-phone

Down by the river where the grass is high
keep on jumping up to see Champagne pass by
down by the river where the bulrush grows
I watch her swimming without no hesitation

Out in the country where the nights are gay,
the owls are trained to look the other way
Down on the beach where the nights are black
Youll find Champagne lying on her best behaviour

Champagne was kissed by me on the bum,
she said to me, now what you bleeding gone and done?
I said Im at, the end of my wits,
ever since the time I grabbed you by the coffee-machine

Dum da da de dum dum, dum dum.
i have been looking at all the stuff on the first link you gave us its brilliant!
Hope you get a chow chow one day! x
LOL - That was brilliant!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!! I'm in stitches here! Did you even wear the fake beard while you writ it?
Oh my! :o\ and I thought you were the innocent type Champers!
Ruddy nora Lore did ya???

Bout the only person who did then!

And honestly Ham you're utterly shameless in your flirting aren't you? Though I'm not sure naming a dog after your would be paramour is the right way to go about it ;-)

Shameless? And there was me thinking I was being subtle. Tell you what though. The moment Octavius tries to hump my leg he's history!
Ya know- a lesser person would ask which Octavius you were talking about there.....as for me? I aint going there!!!!!

You have a one track mind, BOO!!! I admire that in a woman.

;o)
not really Boo, I just thought it'd make Champers feel a bit better!
