Do you get back to sleep after? I'm sure it's nothing to get freaked out over.
try going to bed at a different time. Its probably just your sleep cycle causing you to wake up after so long.

Thanks for both answers and yeah I go back to sleep without a problem, thats the thing I do not suffer with insomnia really.Thats why I dont understand that I wake up at this particular time +/- 15 minutes TY (_8(I)
Have you not seen The Amityville Horror? Be afraid.... be very afraid...

Either that or you reside in a little town called Gobbler's Nob!
I've just worked out that those symbols at the end of your posts are homer simpson!

I agree that your natural body clock has got used to waking up then.

I have a similar experience in waking every morning at 3.50,or 5.50 if the clocks change, can`t put it down to anything really but its bloody annoying!
Just as a matter of interest homer, Would you consider yourself to be a morning/afternoon or evening person? By that I mean are you more alert and feel okay during any of those three individual occasions?
Have you tried switching your alarm clock off ?,or change your alarm time to 8 o clock maybe ??
Can't help with the question at all, but thanks to TE.A, I now know what those squiggles are- gotta say, I'm impressed!
stop looking at the clock. your in a cycle of anxiety...it used to happen to me. you will still wake but wont get freaked out and will drop off back to sleep quicker...it will stop when you stop thinking about it.
