selling samples

ive got a perfume sample that I was going to sell on ebay but at the back of it, it says sample not for resale. So im not allowed to sell it?

I've bought load of things from ebay that say sample or promotional not for resale. Don't know if it's strictly ebay legal but everyoner does it. I'd just put somewheer in the description of the item that it was an original sample or something like that

I have actually seen quite a few market traders sell those DVD's that are free in the newspapers and no one has said anything to them and like your sample it states not for resale.
