Should i eat the egg that doesn't really belong to me ?

As i have said in my earlyer post i don't have any easter eggs.
But im minding a mates house for him while he and his wife are in the Caribbean. He has told me to help myself with food and drink. But there is a big egg on the chair it was there last week before they went away. They rang yesterday to see if all was ok and to make sure i use the house as my own. And to use what ever there is in the house.
Well you can guess what im going to ask

If they phoned yesterday, all the way from the Caribbean, to ask if the egg was ok then it must have special significance to them..........Whatever you do, DON'T eat it!!

The couple rang about something else.
I want to eat it as i seems to stand out when i walk in the room and say " Eat Me ".
He has told me to drink the wine and whisky but said nothing about the egg.
I did ask a freind who stayed last night but she said leave it which didnt help matters.

I think, mr, you've got quite a situation here. Anything unusual about this egg: has it moved?, changed colour?, grown bigger?, any noises coming from it?, does it levitate? Don't be too rash in your dealings with this particular egg........be wery, wery careful!!

Definitely eat it! You could always plead ignorance and say you thought they meant eat anything. If they are upset when they get back buy them some chocolate to make up for it but enjoy it for now.

Be very careful.....considering the placement of the egg, it could be eggcam and they are watching your every move!!

You must eat it for all our sakes , don't put yourself through this torture ,when they get back say it melted , go on treat yourself you know that you want to !!!!!

Ive just popped home as there is no Pc or broadband at this house.
She has two kids but there is only one egg so it can't be for them.
I cant replace it if i do eat it as there is none left at Tesco / Asda ive looked.
Also there not back for another 5 days so if it is his / hers then easter will be well over.
If there is a camera in it well err i might get a bit of stick lol

Tell them you took their advice and drank the alchohol and ate the egg while you were drunk so you didn't know what you were doing.
