so when in bath lastnight shaving my legs I thought 'my god the things us woman have to go through' and then I thought of all the obvious others, babies, periods etc. So todays debate is between the boys and girls or ladies and gentlemen and I ask 'who has got it tougher?' Would like to know what problems boys have that girls dont.

Good morning 4getmenot i have to pop out, this morning but i love your thread so i will come back to it when i get in. take care megan.
mental anxiety, mental breakdowns, menstrual cramps, menopause. . . .

Did you ever notice they all start with MEN

Shaving parts of our bodies is something that both sex's need to put up with, so you dont have it any tougher than the gents in that department.
Most women are attracted to successful men, just like in nature the female will mate with the alpha male in order for the male to protect them and to produce the strongest offspring so I suppose the pressure is on us to at least appear strong, confident and finacially independant.

manage, manoeuver, manual, mankind

but John thats the thing you dont HAVE to shave, well we dont have to but we would be freaks and I'd never get away with my beard :-)>
I've always thought that women have a harder time physically throughout life (birth, periods etc) but i think men have it far worse mentally - especially in this day and age (peer pressure, bullying, fights etc).
nat, just wait til after youve had baby Nat before commenting on how hard men have it lol
haha! Yeah maybe i shouldnt speak too soon!!lol

but fighting isnt something they need to do, walking away is the bigger thing to do. We have to do our things
The problem that men have is listening to the women constantly moaning about the problems they have. Such as you have mentioned, but also, the latest diet doesnt work, the latest heart-throb celeb has got married to b1thc face, the latest clothes dont fit, I feel fat, I feel emotional, you dont understand me, you dont listen, etc etc - it goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

And we get told off for being grumpy when Arsenal has a bad game.
Question Author
no oct you're not getting the point I'm trying to see if there is anything a man has to deal with in himself. You are just moaning about us moaning, bit hypocritical :-)
Question Author
if we were to go on about the problems men make for us Im sure it would be an even bigger list, because half the things youve mentioned are caused by men because of the stereotypical way a woman should be, if men didnt ogle over porn mags and models we wouldnt be that paranoid :-)
I get told off for being grumpy when Arsenal have a bad game - so thats not just a man thing!

As for the fighting i think a lot has to do with per pressure, starts from a young age.
Question Author
and surely thats the mans fault for being grumpy
Might as well be as it seems it is also a mans fault when a woman is grumpy.

The problem is 4get, that men wouldnt classify things as problems as through apical dominance perhaps, we just get on with it and don't ponder, but in taking your lead:

Shave face every day
Get shaving rash
Stub toes on bath & cabinets because of our big feet
Remove spiders from everywhere
Checking out what went bump in the night
Management of the TV remote control
Adjusting the boiler temperature every half an hour
Fixing everything and repetitive DIY & decorating
Taking the rubbish out

I am sure there are more, but I was just thinking of one day in the week.
Question Author
but thats what I'm trying to ask what is there that Men actually have to go through that woman dont, as to your list men dont HAVE to shave, woman get shaven rash too, and being a woman living alone I do all the above and we too stub our toes
Waxing is the way forward surely....lol chest and eyebrows on a regular basis...
Question Author
By the way Im not making this into a post so we can moan about men I just wondered if anything that only men go through. Oh and may I mention the smear test
