Went to Wolverhampton to interview drummer of Within Temptation, and review show for two magazines. Returned to station at 10.40 to get train home, only to find major power failure, so lots of trains delayed or cancelled. Replacement bus service to Stafford, just in time to catch last Manchester train, calling at Stoke. Train was about fifteen minutes later than promised, but it turned up. All good except -

at Wolverhampton station, met a Manc. guy who had had his wallet stolen. All very sad and all that, but he went on and on and ON about it! We were the only ones on the bus to Stafford, and he followed me to the platform to wait for the Manchester train. He looked like Bez, he talked like Liam, and he would not shut UP!

That's what I call Friday 13!!!!
