I am going to Italy in June but have never flown before and am quite scared of it! I don't really want to take tablets but was wondering what ones I could take if it came down to it, to calm me down?

RUBYROSE ! So glad to hear you are back, long time no post lol ! Darling, if you are scared of flying like I am, go to your docs and get some sleeping pills, then have a couple of vodkas before you board and trust me on this, you wont care.........lol - I am the worlds worst for hating flying, and this has never failed me, i have gone long haul everywhere ! what a buzz ! xx

I had never flown before and my first flight was to Florida!! I was imagining all sorts,and i had watched the film Alive !!, never bothered taking anything, the best bit was looking out of the window at the clouds :o) Hope you get on ok

I was sat in the very back row on plane coming home from hols. I am a nervous flyer. Then this pinging noise started and I gripped my husband and asked him if he could hear the alarm going off. He said that any alarm would only be heard by captain, what I was hearing was the microwave warming up the dinners.

Oh you just must go !!!!! I went to Rome last June and had a wonderful time. Once you land in Italy it will all be well worth it.

if you really dont want to take tablets, you could go to a Holistic Therapist or hypnotherapist. They have astounding results.
