my friend last nite got back with this jerk who has treated her bad , he is drunk all the time and she can do better i have been out with simillar men who were just after one thing etc so what makes us put up with it ?

Bad boys live on edge, take risk and aggressive. They are not shy and usually make the first move. Women much prefer men make the first move so men making the first move is always the beginning of communication.

Maybe it's the romantic thought that they will change after meeting you. I still don't get why people start seeing someone they just want to change anyway!
