I think for me & my fella, it would be I just called by Stevie Wonder!
Whenever we used to be in the car when he was picking me up or driving me home, which was everynight, (bless him, he drove for around 3 hours backwards & forwards to see me everyday) we would play that song & hold hands!
Ours was also Stevie Wonder, I just Called!!
We didn't really want that one..........
... it just seemed to be the dj wedding package of songs that he brought!
We had our wedding reception on the Marchioness!!!
Two years later it sank!!
So did the marriage!
I don't even have a boyfriend but when 9(if) I get married, I want our first dance to be Songbird by Fleetwood Mac. Could also be Eva Cassidy's version. Such a lovely song!
3 marriages.
1968 concrete and clay by unit 4 plus 2.
1978 can't remember
1996 walk of life by dire straits.
Iv'e had back luck with wives, 2 have left and one won't.
Hi Carla, hope you are well ;)
At my wedding we danced to Your Song by Elton John, Lets Stay Together by Al Green (fat lot of good that did me!) and Come What May from Moulin Rouge.
What would your choices be Carla?
Our was "dream a little dream" by Mama Cass but learned and sung by the guy in the band we hired. It's a great song and I have to say that the Mama Cass version was better than the band guys, though it was great of him to go to the effort rather than just playing the recording!!!
Our song was "From this moment" by Shania Twain. I love it, if you listen to the words it is a really appropiate song for a wedding as she is basically saying she will love him forever until death do us part.
Brilliant choices by everyone!, hellllloo helliebobs i honestly dont know what mine would be was talking about it today at lunchtime, i love your elton john pick :)) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
