Record and tape transfer to CD!

A taxi driver told me you could buy a machine that will transfer records and tapes to CD, via USB. It was advertised in one of the papers for �150. Any idea what this is called or where I can get one?!

Don't bother bying a USB device. Connect the headfone socket on your stereo to the microphone socket on your pc (all for about �2) and use nero or similar software (google recording software free) to transfer your tapes. Pound to a pinch of poo your stereo is a better quality tape player than the usb device.
