So they have to keep an eye on my urine samples for traces of sugar.
Also my iron levels had shot down so thats another thing they'll be keeping an eye on - otherwise i'll have to take iron supplements.
*sorry to move completely away from ur question cocopops! x*

I was told by a doctor that almost everyone has floaters, they are not necessarily caused by high bp unless accompanied by spots (as well as floaters) and bad regular headaches.
I had pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy and although my bp was 165/120 I had no abnormal floaters (just regular ones like most people have posted here)
I still have them now and my bp is 125/68

Only joking. Your natural reaction is to try to look at them and that is a fatal mistake the more you do that the worse it gets what you do is just try to stare straight through them,it will take a while to get the hang of it but it works in the end.
An example of what you are doing is something you do when your driving,do you ever really notice all the little specks etc on your windscreen you dont really do you and what you are doing is just staring straight through them at the road ahead and its the same principle with floaters.
But dont get downhearted when you cant get the hang of doing it straight away I can guarantee that it will work with a bit of practise.
It is also advisable to see the doctor as well just to be on the safe side as stewey says they could be early signs of cataracts but this is highly unlikely.........
Good luck..

its not floaters that are a sign of high blood pressure, its more like lightening flashes. I had pre-eclampsia and I had many more signs before they turned up.
Your brain learns to ignore the floaters, so you shouldnt see them at all if you end up with some debris in the back of your eye. Its only when its dangerous debris will they pop your eye out and give it a clean. Euwwww!
