does anyone have any ways of combatting stress that works? im going through a stressful time at the moment and i find my heart races, i keep swallowing, i shake, i feel really sick etc and i cant cope with this

I had a very stressful time last year, and taking vit B complex actually did help me out. You can get herbal remedies which can help also. But if it feels beyond that, go and have a word with your doctor. Hope you feel better soon xx

Whatever you are stressed out about, remember its not the end of the world and letting it effect your health such an extreme way is letting the situation control you rather than the other way around.
Talk it out whether its with friends or family, it helps to clear your head, or else try keeping a diary for some time, as long as you have a way of getting your thoughts and anxieties out, you'll feel better. Exercise is another way of beating stress, if you do it enough, you won't have the energy to over-worry about your problems too much.

I get like this sometimes and its exhausing!! I started using rescue remedy - that really semed to work well for me. And i also just used to sit down and write down evrything that was stressing me out - i didnt care if it was the same thing everyday - it helped get it all out. When i looked at it on paper it seemed a bit easier to manage it all! Also i started boxing - onl yin my house and stuff but that worked wonders!!
