Odd love letters to 7 year old...
22 Answers
There is a little girl in my son's class who is really fond of him, bless. They are both 7 and she follows him everywhere, which he says drives him mad but I think he secretly likes it! He came home yesterday and said that she had written him 5 love letters. I said how sweet and he got them to show me. Well, I'm not quite sure what to make of them because they say the following: " Will you sex me?" " ......please sex me" " I want you to sex me" "I love you. Will you sex me" And the last one was what I would have expected. " I love you ". Now unless kids have developed a new language for kissing etc I just don't know quite what to make of them. Is this normal with 7 year olds??? PS I have also put this in Family xx

btw...we were only sleeping..honest

I think it's a bit odd but then kids are so much wiser these days!
My friends two little boys are 4 and 5 and the other day the youngest one stripped off his clothes and was running about naked and his older brother came over to be and said 'Look, Kieron is being gay'!!
They seem to think Naked means Gay! Lol

If she invites him round to pet the rabbit ... just say no! lol
I would have to say something in a jokey way to the mother tho' , wrong wrong wrong. What if she tells someone else so and so sexed her ... a call to 0800 11 11 and a visit from the social (if they have funding in your area) would be least of her problems.

Yes I agree with you, its not nice to hear. What do you do tho, if I say " dont say that" or try to explain will it make it all the more "daring" I told them a kiss is a kiss etc. When I spoke to the dad of the boys who were also saying these things to mt two ( playing in my house at the time) about my concern he actually sneered at me and said "well I looked up all the rude words in the dictionary when I was little and now Im a respected solicitor " I was taken aback at his attitude.( and he's ego). I would be glad of any advice.

Ah scuzi Fizzy, Baby Jane buy a dictonary highlight words like toss.., idiot, egocentric etc etc and give it to his kids the next time they are around! If there are not enough words scribble in a few of your own with yer definitions wrap it up and get the kids to give it to Daddy the next time they visit. What a plank!
i doubt the girl knows what she i saying, she will have picked it up of the telly and misunderstood.
my friends little girl (10) asked a boy to rape her!
she had heard it, picked up snippets of info and come to the conclusion that it was something sexy that adults did - she didn't realise it was horrible.
my cousins used to say it to us, ''sexying'', ''lipspicking'' etc etc
it is innocent to them, but to adults obviously not.
tell the mother not to scold the child - you'll have her growing up thinking its a bad word or a bad thing.

Hi Pinkfizz :o)
I think other's are right and she probably means kissing. I work in a school and hear things like this all the time, they just don't understand.
Maybe you should have a word with the teacher and show him/her the letters. Maybe she could have a word with the mother (or father) or prehaps even the little girl as the letters were done at school.
Defo speak to your son tho and explain that children of his age shouldn't be using words like that.
Kids eh! :o)

i wouldnt worry...kids say a lot of things...my next door nieghbour who is also seven thinks that his younger sister came thru his father sending a tadpole into his mother's mouth.........by kissing her....soooo i wouldnt worry.....but if you still worried i would go and speak to the girl's parents and see how they would react to that!!
Hi Pink - I think the trouble is that kids hear these words everywhere these days (we were much more protected from it as kids) and they truly don't know what words mean.
Kissing is sexing (horrible) and gay means something is rubbish ( my friend, bless her, carefully explained the more accepted meaning of gay to her son and was stunned when I told her that it also means rubbish!).
I tell my 9 year old boy that certain words are unacceptable and/or that the words don't mean what he has been told they mean and by using them he sounds silly. He accepts that and I've had no problems - he knows what all the swear words are but he knows that 'nice' people don't use them.
I suspect it's always happened, I remember asking a friend what 'fcuk off' meant and he told me it meant 'Go away I don't want to play anymore' (which I suppose it does lol) which was fine until my Mum heard me say it to my sister!!
