without patronising you, if you put insomnia and cd in a google search, there are many on the market, both in the UK and the US.

Thanks Joe for your reply. Believe me, I have been googling away trying to locate the distributor of the tape. I thought just emphasing the name of the tape might bring a response, rather than the distributor.

I do use other insomnia and relaxation tapes, but for some reason "Overcoming Insomnia Without Pills" works better for me. It is the soothing slight Yorkshire accent of the presenter that I find helps. He sort of sounds like the late James Mason - has a very relaxing and comforting voice. My present tape is rather old; thus I need a replacement, or better still, a cd, so there is no nasty loud "click" when the tape runs out.

Excuse my ignorance, but how great can that particular tape be if you still need them?

Sorry, I have no experience of what insomnia is about, nor know the psychology of it.

But I hope you soon discover a good nights sleep, with or without the tape.

Joe, I get your point but unfortunately, there is no cure for insomnia, just like the common cold!

Sometimes it is worse than other times. When it is really bad, "Overcoming Insomnia Without Pills" helps me and most of the time, I can drop off to sleep whilst listening to it. Other people might have other tapes or methods of dealing with insomnia; this particular one works for me.
