It's been two months since my last period, and I do not know what to do. I know that there is no possible way that I could be pregnant because I'm not sexually active. I also know that it is not menopause because I am still a teenager. I've looked up many websites to see if they could help me figure out what is wrong, and the only thing I could come up with is "Amenorrhea", but I do not know if this is true because according to the articles you have to have missed your period for over 6 months. If that is the case, I would like to ask a question. How and when will my period return to normal?

Why don't you ask your doctor? That would be the sensible thing to do.
it depends on a lot of things, the most common reason for absent periods is being underweight, if you are of a healthy weight and eat normally then I suggest you see a doctor.

it could just be your body settling down to a regular pattern. a lot of teenage girls miss periods for no apparent reason but as has already been said, go and see your doctor and have your mind put at rest.
by the way, amenorrhea is just a long word to say 'missed period', it's not a disease in itself.
Just because you are a teenager that does does cancel out the menopause, it has been known to happen to teenagers. Very doubtful but U I would go see your doctor anyway. But as ethandron says could be body getting into routine, 2 months isnt that long.
isnt self diagnosis a wonderful thing. You can find out all sorts of things that could be wrong with you and never have to waste the time of your GP eh?

Go and see your GP, there are so many things it could be and a search of the web is not going to give you answers, just many possibilities!
As you are only a teenager this is very common. Periods often get all messed up because your hormones are all over the place. I missed mine for 4 months once. They settle down by the time you hit 21! Until then I wouldn't worry at all. They can stop at the slightest little thing like diet change, tiredness, stress, sudden excersise. But as you are in the age bracket where they are most likely to be irregular then I really don't think you have anything to worry about. Go to the doctors if you want to put your mind at ease but I am sure it's fine.

Mine have only just settled down and I am 22.
