I have had a stye on my lower eyelid for approx 4 weeks now and now i have another coming next to it. What causes them and how long do they last? I am sick of swollen eyelids and they are quite painful too!!!!

AN infection of the eyelash root.
You need to go to the doc and get some antibiotic cream. Also look at your diet are you run down or missing some nutrients?
You can have the stye root cut out on a local from the hospital
take care of your eyes , mine have been damage do not allow your to be further

Why not try Golden Eye from the chemist, you do not need a script and I think its very good.

Hi thanks for replies went to doc's as now have 3 of the blighters so now on antibiotics and eye cream x nasty little things they are!!
