Use Pearl Drops its quite good, i use a whiteneing toothpaste and have been for years, it helps a little, i'm no Richard Hammond but in photos you do see the difference over the years.
But yeah cut down on sugary drinks, especially coke. The acid in coke softens your enamel then you simply brush it away from your teeth when brushing. They say that if you have a drink of coke wait at least 30 mins before brushing to allow the enamel to harden again.

Generally canine teeth in most people are slightly more yellow in hue in some people the difference is subtle and in others it is not.
Its due to a number of reasons, the shape and length of the canine compared with the incisor teeth, the enamel being more translucent (showing the underlying yellow dentine) and thinner and the fact that because of their relative prominence they tend to get more wear from everyday use ('thins the enamel') and also because they get brushed more being at the corners of your mouth.
***Do not use pearl drops, they will wear the enamel and make the teeth appear more yellow.
You could consider having the teeth bleached and/or veneered/crowned but this is a bit extreme. Bleaching may be the best option.
