Some psychologists believe that the regressed person is accessing dormant thought patterns and combining these with subconsciously remembered historical learning, life events and so on to form a completely fabricated existence to act as a buffer in making sense of what they find in their lifetime. While other professionals believe that we are in actuality accessing the memories of our high selves (our souls [not to be read fast]) and what we endured in our past lives colours what we find in this lifetime.
As an example, I have heard of someone who has had many throat ailments, when regressed to explore past lives, the point of their passing seemed always to involve throat related deaths ie hanging, choking, throat cut and so on. Was this a recall of past lifetimes or was this person subconsciously making up a 'story' to explain away recurrent illnesses?
Champagne clearly had eating cake on the brain when she regressed to Marie Antoinette, and probably a well known style for doggies in the Lassie bit.
Ruby, I am pleased - however sceptic I remain - that you are cured of your anxiety though.
