I hate verrucas for about 5 years, tried EVERYTHING time and time again but nothing worked........ the only thing that did was time and to leave them completely alone, dont touch or put anything on them. Then finally after numerous summers of sunbathing with my flip flops on they went! However, it could be a coinsidence but they went after i changed my diet to a healthy one, inc a lot of meat, fruit and veg, could have something to do with it!!!! hope u get rid soon.... annoying arent they!
You will find as christy say flip flops do help a lot wear them as often as u can. Also use Tea tree oil this will help rubbing down with file first.
You could pop to the doctors and ask for verruca paint or wart paint.
And as for the duck tape i read that but i do believe its takes a couple of weeks. No harm in trying

My daughter had a verruca but bazooka wouldn't get rid of it. I spoke to a foot specialist who said you can get it removed but suggested I tried this first:
File it down with an emery board as much as possible. Dab tea tree oil on the verruca and cover with a plaster. (dap a bit on the inside of the plaster as well)
Repeat this every night (with a new plaster of course!!)
It takes about 6 weeks but it works and is pain free
I would reccommend to anyone

You could try taking the homeopathic pill Thuja, or, and this seems quite bizarre, putting banana skin on the verucca. My little boy had a hideous one and the lady at the chemist suggested it. I used to punch out a circle of banana skin with the end of a straw and tape it on, changing it every day. It must be something to do with the enzymes in the skin. The gaffer/duck tape thing seems to work too. My (obviously hideously infected!) son had warts on his thumb and fingers and the doctor suggested this course of action which I thought was a bit odd. I put the tape on (I was told put on for 6 days then have a day off - repeat and in two months they may have gone). Bearing in mind we're talking about a 7 year old fiddler the tape lasted about three days. I didn't bother reapplyng it, but hey poncho, the warts have dissapeared! Coincidence? don'y know, butt no harm trying - and you don'tsee the tape on the feet. Good luck.

Years ago got rid of mine (finally after all the other remedies didnt) putting on a solution of formalin (40% formaldahide) which the doctor gave me. Looked on another website and found this for you - they recommend Glutarol. You can get your local pharmacist to order it for you - tell them it is for verrucas, as there are 2 different types. You just file down the verruca twice a day and paint on the glutarol. It stains the verruca brown and does not hurt in any way. It takes a couple of weeks to start to work, but the results are miraculous (it says).....
