Superglued idiot.

So, I am soaking my foot in a tub of hot soapy water at the moment because one of my monkeys, put superglue on my flip flop and I didn't notice a thing until i tried to kick it off after going to bed. Its loosening round the edges, any ideas on what I can soak my foot in to get it off quicker?

Hahahahahahahaha! That's so funny! But not for you I guess, huh?

You could try applying a solvent like nail varnish remover/acetone. Might melt your flip flops though, depending on what they are made of. But I am guessing they won't be much kop now anyway.

ahhhh, I have tried the acetone but thats making my foot sting where I originally though be brave just rip it off. They are kinda wood resin and I am not destroying them, accesorize arent selling them this year.

No, I have ginormous size 8 feet and its a bog splodge on my heel. I just thought it was a bit of wet from getting the kids out the bath....how foolish was I?

you could try planting it firmly up the rear end of the guilty monkey . Might not loosen the glue but might make you feel better !!! lol :-)

put on loads of socks and put your foot on a hot water bottle - the only thing that can get between the glue and your skin is your sweat.
your feet will sweat and loosen the glue.

Nail varnish remover would get it off but don't leave it on tooooo long this will remove the glue

I am sure A & E have seen worse - and at least you wouldnt have to look for your shoes before you leave the house!!!!!

I suggested A & E as an easy way to make my joke - sorry! On the serious side though A & E will have something to use especially to remove super glue very quickly, that is if you are stuck for a way to get the flip flop off (no pun intended!!!)
