i dont want a debate on whether they should be illegal or anyone who hasnt taken them to come here and say how vile they are -im looking for people who have taken them to give their opinions on them. im thinking about trying something and i want to know how people feel about them and what they would say to someone trying for first time??

Yep if you read what Sherman said, you'll see that he said deaths from JUST ecstacy. That page also says this Alcohol
Estimates of annual alcohol-related deaths in England and Wales vary from 5,000 to 40,000. This includes deaths from cirrhosis of the liver and other health problems from long-term drinking, deliberate and accidental overdose, traffic deaths, fatal accidents while drunk etc.

Joe, I am not going to argue with you, I agree that *some* that use drugs ARE a certain type, all I'm trying to say is that not all are low lives.

If you took the time to read Red's post you will see that I am far from the scumbag that you think.

I don't care what you say, I am a GOOD mother and tbh it really hurts to hear that I am a child abuser when my 8 yr old daughter WAS abused by her birth mother, her father and I have given her a life that she would not have had but for us.

Like I said, you don't know me and you don't know my circumstances.

Goodsoulette, or should I say Judas? You can't advice him to get MDMA powder when he's never had actual pills before, besides which it comes in crystals. I've always thought it awfully suspect when people have tried to pass some powdered nonsense off as MDMA. (It's only happened once and it was a mate of my cousins and it was free so I didn't complain even though it was clearly crushed e's!) Plus it's a lot harder to judge your quantity with MDMA, so I wouldn't advise doing it first!

Drugs and parenthood are not compatable. Never has been and thankfully never will be.

You should give serious consideration to your existence and quit the drugs now. If not for you, then for the sake of your kids.

well its for no one else to say what to and what not to do. Wedd ive smoked - its a childs thing i think - something you do as a teenager for a laugh - i know some people who smoke it to help them sleep and relax onece in a blue moon but i don;t really get it any more.
With any pills i may have taken they've been alright whilst your on them but they ALL make you feel sh!t the next day. Its is leathal as if you like them you will do them again and soon you'll relaise just how many you take and how much you spend on them.. Cocaine is ok - come down is pretty sh!tty but ok. I did coke thinking it would be a one time thing and did it couple of times cuz it makes you feel good. Only stopped when a mates brother died from using drugs.
As for saying you know its "a good batch" thats rubbish - just becaue a couple of the pills have been ok doesnt mean they all will be - you are more likely to know a 'good batch' regarding coke as if its bad its all bad!
you mentioned that your girl did it and you didnt share that with her....there are many things i dont share with my boyf - he has a studio where he produces music - i dont have anything to do with that - just because he does it doesnt mean i am going to rush out and do it - its normal to have parts of each other life that you don't share.
You obviously have reservations about doing it otherwise you wouldnt be on here asking so mybe you should give it a miss and leave your mates and girlf to mash their heads up instead. you can be the one that watches them suffer when they become addicted or get a bad batch.

Personally Joe, I don't see the difference between me smoking a couple of joints once the kids are in bed to having a couple of glasses of wine.

Neither affect them as they are out of the way and if we haven't the money we don't buy it.

All our household bills are paid and kids provided for before we take anything for ourselves.

We both work hard, very rarely go out and its our way of relaxing.

But like I am saying its JMO and I know that others think differently. The world would be a very boring and unchallenging place to live in without difference of opinion.

Mind you the only upshot of everyone agreeing would mean the politicians could give it a rest

teehee.....skreechy! It was just an explanation as he specifically said he wanted to try Ecstasy. I wasn't trying to lure him into it lol more factual..... our drug laws seem to be based around the fact that you get a better hit off drugs than you do alcohol. The long term effects of drug abuse are no different to alcohol abuse. Most drug users use some OCCASIONALLY, social drinkers can drink every lucnchtime, a glass of wine in the evening and binge 2 nights a week. RIDICULOUS!

Joe, you just about summed up what i think of drug takers, including wanabee takers etc.

Oh and i'm sorry Sherman, i wish my cousin would of thought twice before Inhaling aerosols 20 years ago, maybe he would'nt of died, so before you start pulling your hair out over not wanting a debate ''whether'' they are illegal or vile, spare a thought for some people who might be just ''slightly'' p!ssed off {me} about this type of thread, and don't dare say that if i don't like it don't read it or answer to it, as someone has already pointed out, this site is open to children, and this post is a very bad example to set, even if you are just trying to gauge opinions from ex drug takers etc.

Ask your own mates who come across as ideal material for this thread

i haven't got a view of a "Typical" drug addict joko, all I know is what I have seen, decent people, begging for a fix, then crying because of what they have done to people, then pinching from the people they love, to get another fix, that is why I am so against drugs, I have seen two friends die from it, and now have a nephew trying desperately to come off of it, they were all decent lovely people that took the wrong road.so my opinion is far from a knee-jerk reaction.
