We all want this little girl found, but most of us cannot do anything but wish the family that their nightmare will end soon in one way or another.
To those who critisised my lack of response.... I was offline, and am now back on this morning answering first thing, so apologies for that.
I have collated a rather large list of names and emails, all of people who are fed up of watching, and feeling rather helpless. These are people, who under the guidance of the McCann family, and the campaign manager, when appointed, would by happy to assist in the search in any way they felt they could.
Here is one example in which people may assist... the campaign manager will be fully informed regarding the details of the investigation. I am aware from an inside source, (and I'm certain that most of us would probably have thought it anyway) that the police know FAR FAR more than they are communicating. There may come a time, for example, when they become aware that Madeleine may be in a particular country. The campaign manager may then ask that those volunteers who can, go to airports and target people on flights to that area, and give out laminated posters, and smaller business style cards.
Its things like that that a volunteer group might help with. Members of the group are in direct contact with a McCann family member, and we hope to become greater in number, so to become a force that can really help when called upon.
I really am sorry if some readers feel that this is futile. I dont mean to cause upset of offence, truly. People who wish to help probably feel a very different way about the story to others. I think that tolerance of peoples desire to assist in any small way they can is the key here. And equally, tolerance of peoples desire to not be involved. We're not doing anything wrong in wishing to help... we just wish to help.

I KNOW that Madeleines abduction is VERY WELL publicised. IN THE UK! But Madeleine is not in the UK. If this were as well known about on the continent, the chances of finding her would be very much increased. And I'd rather help than do nothing. I just hope that my opinion can be respected, just as I respect the opinions of those who have very different views.
Thankyou all for responding though.

Tell you what if you are so close to the McCanns tell them they should have not gone and left their three children alone whilst they are off enjoying themselves. Dont see why the rest of the world should be bombared with this story. If they were lower class they wuod be slated for doing what they did. Pathetic
right i have read your last reply twice, and (unless its me) i cannot understand your logic?? On hear you are just words not even a 'real' person, so why would anyone want to give you personal details like email addresses, phone numbers etc... which 'one' would have to do in order to 'volunteer' which brings me to my next point, tell me what good would a 'volunteer' do, by giving out posters or laminated business cards (??) out, who is going to fund these little trips? do 'volunteers' have to take time off work or just drop everything at a whim? i'm not being mean, its just that you said yourself some will think its futile......well i'm one of them! there comes a point where nobody can do anything constructive, and judging by the majority of responses to a post i made in the 'news' section yesterday people are getting a bit weary of this whole story, general consensus is: Yeah Yeah we all hope she is found safe and well etc etc but can we just move on a tad now, as there are lots and lots of traumatic things happenning in the world at the moment too, having said that, i hope you get your 'volunteers' but i wouldnt hold your breath on signing up members of any Q and A Forum, far too random an idea i suspect. Good Luck
