Did anyone see the report this weekend of the family in Newcastle who were suffering at the hands of the local yobs because they were all ginger/red-heads? The children in the family were bullied and the family had moved 3 times as a result. Apparently ginger-abuse is quite common in this country-yet in the states red hair is seen as something to be proud of. What is YOUR experiance? Do you dislike gingers?
However, he has had one gingerist experience in his life and I was with him, he is 5 and some 10 yr olds were just shouting ging at him. I turned around and one of them was superbly overweight. I asked them how they would like it if I called them fat, they didn't like it much. Then came to apologise. He didn't understand any of it. Gings in at the moment anyway.
I had dark red(as it is called in the States)hair---I always got called carrot-top and ketchup head lol! In high-school some older girls thought it wasnt real cos I had very dark eyebrows and dark brown eyes...guess they thought everything has to match!lol!
I have two brothers and a sister who where ginger, I say where because because now they are now dark auburn... My sis it a bit older than me, but my bros I don't remember them ever being skitted........When I was at school you got skitted if you wore those NHS glasses......and if you wore the patch aswell it was even worse.
OI! did you read my question Legend????? just wanted to know attitudes to follks with the highly exotic attribute of flaming hair. (as opposed to common blonde, brownetc)
H*ll no! honesty always better...prob not enough these days. And on that note-if you smack me you will have my english-irish-italian temper to deal with...hehheh...oh yeh -there might be some cherokee in there also. Proper mutt I am!
