sunburn ouch!!

i got sunburnt over the hols whilst i was camping in wales and im very sore iv tried after sun but im just not cooling down ? any ideas xx

I got burnt too last week in Sardinia... apparently the best thing for it is Natural Yogurt... Like Bio Pot stuff! Never tried it but I have been told it works well!

and you were worried about the rain.... sorry to hear you're burned Sam. hope you enjoyed it otherwise? I dont like the creamy aftersuns, so I use aloe vera gel and find that really soothing-specially if you keep it in the fridge.

Also, coolish bath/showers and wandering around with as few clothes on as possible helps (maybe just try that at home tho ;o)

it was very decieving there was a bit of a wind so i didnt use that much suncream although i did use a bit obviously not enough :( my own fault

Don't wear a bra if it rubs on any of the burn- worst thing ever! Try Rubyrose's and teag1rl's suggestions, they really work.

hey kind of no it sounds weird but try some hemmoroid cream it works brilliantly on tattoos same kind of thing as a burn........... it lets your skin breath whilst mending it.trust me it does work!!
just send some one else to get it!!!

whiskey- the bra ouch i no, me silly cow has put a vest top on today and iv got to wear a bra other wise id be hanging south not a good look, i had a brilliant time though i wanna go back heeheexxx

Poor Thing -Im a redhead and always getting burned - even with sunscreen. Very good cure is Aqueous Cream!

As a few others suggested, Aloe Vera gel (can get organic stuff in most chemists) is brilliant at cooling and preventing the skin from peeling.

I have nothing but sympathy for you! I got burnt just walking along my local beach and back, half the time it was overcast too! Been suffering ever since. Ive been ok with just using after sun and wearing as little as possible though. Had to wear "proper" clothes today though :(
