Transition to red top milk.
23 Answers
I have decided to make a few changes to my diet and was just wondering if anybody has successfully switched to fat-free or red top milk.
I drink up to 8 pints a day of either full fat or semi-skimmed and really can not stand red top, especially in tea and coffee.
If they have been successful, do they still enjoy the ********** that passes for milk? And how long does it take to get used to it?
PS I do not require any diet tips or exercise tips, thank you. I am not on a diet, nor ever will be!!!!!

Hi wardy, we have gone on to semi-skimmed milk, and you do get used to it, in fact if i have tea now with full fat milk it tastes far to rich, but you can't beat proper milk on your corn flakes, and since we switched I do not drink as much milk as I used to as the flavour just isn't there as for skimmed milk, jesus christ, no way it is bloody horrible, so weak, like nats wee
As you enjoy your milk so much, start by replacing half with semi-skimmed milk, so you have up to 4 pints of full fat milk and the rest semi-skimmed.
Every couple of weeks, reduce the amount of full fat until you have only one pint a day, however you most enjoy it.
Eventually you'll give it up entirely, painlessly.
I have very little milk these days and drink mainly water.
