u can take morning after pill up to 72 hrs after unprotected sex, obviously the sooner u take it the better, did u not read the leaflet? ive never taken it but many of my friends have and it can cause many different side effects including sickness and dizziness, not too sure about the tender breasts but it could be your body telling you to be careful next time or some women get tender breasts a few days before their period
gotchaeme,

can I just ask how long after did you take the morning after pill??

Its just my friend took it, and she stupidly left it till the last day possible. By doing this the chances of it working were 60/40! not too good. she experienced mood swings and tender breasts.

She did a pregnancy test about two weeks after taking it, two tests actually which both said she was not pregnant. However, friday gone it has been confirmed by her doctor that she is actually pregnant, the morning after pill was left too late and has not worked.
xx
perhaps you should use a condom in future?
but go get a preg test as theyre only a few quid.

but take precautions in future.
pregnancy could be the last of your worries
legend i bet you mum wished she had used one lol sorry
i have taken the m.a.p lots of time (i'm not bragging about this by the way)
It can make your period late or early, or different than normal, and can make your breasts tender.
It would be very unlikely for you to get pregnant if you had sex in the few days leading up to your period, as your fertile time is about 14 days before the period starts, but one can never tell!
it has always been reliable for me, but that is a misnomer really, as i have never tried to get pregnant before, i dont even know i can. I might just not have been pregnant all those times because im sterile or something. If you are worrying, you can take a test anytime from the first missed day of your period ie now
