Marriage

How do u perceive marriage in this day and age? a waste of time or a statement of love? Personally, i am old fashioned and see marriage as a mark of love for each other, but typically my boyfriend sees it as a waste of time and thinks it is easier and cheaper (tax etc) to stay unmarried.

Anyone wish to expand......???

Ah, thank you for that Doc - the Beatles always bring back happy memories for us.

We actually got married in a register office - I was only 17 mind & my husband was 18.5. I wore a pale blue boucle mini skirted suit with a Peter Pan collar, navy bag & shoes. My husband wore a navy pin striped suit & a pale blue tab collared shirt & tie.

We were Mod's way back then & thought we looked the bees knees! We still have our outfits tucked away in the wardrobe!

I also have my old 'Mod' Pacamac in the loft - Mum bought if for me when I was 16!

I`ve just had my 11th wedding anniversary last week,
I wasn`t too bothered if we got married or not, I just let her get on with it, shame she had to pick a day when England were playing Scotland in Euro 96....evil cow
