If they are very obese and in speedos at 5am putting towels on the sun loungers by the pool I tend to think they may be German.
Reminds me of a letter written to VIZ magazine................
They say "you can't judge a book by its cover". What nonsense. The last edition of High School An@l that I bought featured a young lady stuffing a big one up her bomb-bay on the front page, and this turned out to be an excellent indication of the contents.

Mr Sense's fave word from the profanisarus is Zuffle...
no I don't judge people by the way they look as I make sure I never wear my Rolex, drive the M3, or dress 'designery' for any fiscal dealings - as I find it spoils my enjoyment when some absolute toady is dismisive and horrid to you - and leaves someone they think is more 'appropriate' to deal with you, then that person gets the fat commision or plaudits they deserve for working with an idiot. It's such fun to see the good people actually rewarded.( Yes, I worked for an Ass many moons ago)

I think its pointed out to kids from a young age. For example, my sons school (and probably most), do not allow gel in their hair, tram lines, coloured hair, long hair has to be tied back, socks have to be black or white etc. Therefore I feel they are saying its not right to be different, that different is odd. My 4 yr old wants pink in her hair, but she starts school in sept, so i cant let her get it done.
following on from missrandom on what look schools allow, when my son is ginger and has a lot of stick for this, during the summer before he started secondary school he had his hair cur into a mohawk and it looked really cool, I should say he wasn't completely bald either side just a number two, he went into school and was not picked on or called ginger minger, but people loved it and he felt great. The school made him cut it off the next day and low and behold the taunts started straight away.
You should never judge a book by its cover - You can usually tell a person just by their actions - 'actions speak far louder than words' or by what they are wearing - it never ceases to amaze me that when I am in my scruffs people react differently to me but when I 'power dress' I seem to get more respect - at the end of the day I am the same person regardless of what I am wearing!! The same applies to status symbols e.g. cars - we own a porche and also a little 'runaround' fiat - People always seem to make way for us in the porche but dont seem to bother when we are in the fiat!! its a funny old world
