I live in Bath, in Somerset and not keen on it either. Its the weather at the moment getting me down, rain, rain and more rain, typical Wimbledon weather. Australia seems an ideal place to be, How come you hate it?

lol warpig , yes , there are wires , and lots of them . Kept them and the moniter thing hidden under my raincoat.

Sydney is a gorgeous city! Maybe try and go to different places in the city. Explore, make friends..

bigmamma - look out of your window. You're being followed. The SWAT team is hiding in the blue van - it's not, repeat, NOT a window cleaner! Quick - out the back door and run for the hills. I know a safe house where you can hide out for the weekend and they can smuggle you across the border to safety on Monday......go, go!!!

We have very happy memories of Sydney. Whist staying with family there in 1980, we & our daughters also booked into a hotel in Manley for a few days - absolute bliss!

We loved Perth too mind & very nearly emigrated, but couldn't leave family behind - if only.....
