Have you ever taken illegal drugs?

It seems this thing about Jacqui Smith having smoked Cannabis is a big issue and I'm not sure whether it should be considered a big deal or not in todays society.

So, my q is: have you taken or tried drugs? I, for the record, never have.

Yes I used to smoke a bit of cannabis, no problems, just made me relaxed and happy, effects are totally gone in a few hours no hangover or anything.

I have tried cannabis when i was about 14 and not proud of it, i got into the wrong crowd, cant really remember much about it just that i think it was more pIer pressure and wanted to fit in.
God did i poo myself though when i did do it, i was so worried my mum woudl sus me out.

Oh and I tried magic mushrooms once, I couldn't stop laughing at my canary, I was in pain for days from laughing so much!!!

My neighbour found a few in his garden last week, we told him to sell them lol, they have gone now so dont know what he done with them, although i have been hearing some strange noises next door!!!

Well I never got in with the wrong crowd, we didn't shop lift, we did well at school, I was home on time, I was never rude to my parents and they say I was a very unsulky teenager and I smoked pot, took a variety a class As at the weekend and continued to do so into my 20s. I still smoked pot till last week but I don't think I am ever going to smoke anything again due to a massive asthma attack, nothing to so with the effects of cannabis though.

the subculture of cannibis smokers will exist for ever. changing laws only adds to the hinderance of being caught. many hash smokers use the drug to self medicate a variety of illnesses.
tried it years ago and decided it wasnt for me, at the time it was part of the growing up process, the exitement of doing something illegal, thinking you'd never get caught or become used to the rituals of looking to buy..smoke..get high.

i consider myself lucky as many of my friends still smoke hash., still have the hasstle of buying it..and depending on it to chill. do they convince themselves they really need it or are they hooked?
the question remains.

I dont think its that addictive. Its all about will power and boredom I guess. Like with fags.

Cannabis is nowhere near as additive as tobacco!!!

tobacco is far worse in terms of addiciton i agree
but for most hash smokers it becomes a way of life, which never changes for them.

I havnt and I wouldnt, I like to keep my wits about me at all times, hence (dont drink,smoke either) ....yeah I know boring caaaaa!

I reguarly take ecstacy and heroin.I have only once or twice taken cannabis. I am an addict and would really love to stop taking the drugs but it it really hard.It should always be a big deal when someone takes drugs.Drugs have ruined my youth and are likely to ruin the rest of my life too.
