i was making the point that these expensive hair products make all kinds of ludicrous claims and have all kinds of ingredients, but they are no better than the cheaper types.
i do not wash my face every day - i have no spots or black heads - or wrinkles and i am 35.... but most people think i am 24 and actually don't believe me.
stripping your face of its natural oils every day just to replace them with a synthetic version is not a particularly good idea.
i also have no grey hair - just long dark brown hair.
what is this natural stuff you use, and what are the natural ingredients?
fair enough using something to protect your hair with all the drying and straightening, but it is likely just superficial 'health'.
i am not suggesting using nothing, but remember - the people that tell you all this fancy stuff are they very people whose pockets you line when you purchase it.

I have very curly hair. Its prone to frizz and dryness and I always had to use a lot of product until I switched to salon shampoo. Shampoos in shops tend to rely on something like silicone to coat the hair and make it appear sleek and shiney.
I cant go back now, it costs me 7 quid a bottle for shampoo and the same for conditioner I think. I also use salon leave in conditioner, mousse and gloss. However I think it lasts 3 times as long as the stuff you buy in a supermarket so you actually have your money back.

I'm 21 and like to look after myself well. I've got medium length, dark brown hair and I wash it every 2-3 days. I use a mixture of shampoos, an expensive salon bought one and good ol' head and shoulders.
I find that they both pretty much do the same job to be honest. True, the salon one gives a great shine on the first wash but after using it a few times that soon goes so I only use it every so often (as it costs 9 quid a bottle!).
Me mum says you should let your hair 'grease up' every now and then, as the natural oil does wonders for it.
