2 hard drives

I've just installed windows xp onto a 40GB hard drive - I still have the old drive and it would be really handy to be able to boot up the windows installation on that drive as well from time to time - just until i've moved all mi stuff over. Is there any way of having both the drives connected and be able to choose which drive the OS is read from.....Apologies if i haven't been crystal clear, i'm havin a hard time describing what i want to achieve!

Apart from (perhaps) your old emails, if you just put the old drive in as a "slave" drive you should be able to just copy most of your data off it via Windows Explorer.

You should also be able to see what programs you had installed in "Documents and Settings" on the old drive. I'd leave it in for data storage or perhaps (depending on the size of your drives) a back up disc for important documents.
