Taking insulin for type 2 diabetes

Can taking insulin make me feel odd, as if i had PMT? I have just started on insulin and am feeling poorly. I also have very low energy. Is that because my blood sugars are still too jihj? How can i get more energy?

Hi lyn,
Type two diabetes is normally controlled by diet or medication. As you are taking insulin, you medication may require adjusting.
It may be better to have talk with your GP or Diabetic Nurse to have your bloods checked out.
Low energy can be a symptom of Diabetes
Go see your Gp and get your bloods checked to put your mind at rest.

I have type 1 diabetes which is controleld by insulin injections, type 2 is controlled by diet and excerise isn't it?
