Daily annoyances?
30 Answers
What are those tiny little phrases people say to you on a daily (or weekly) basis that bug you but you find you use them yourself?
Like when you are eating a salad and someone says 'Ooh that looks healthy'. Or on a Friday 'Don't worry. At least it Friday'.. or 'It's nearly the weekend'!
These things bug me but people in the office say it all the time.. I think it's just to make conversation!

No. Actually I haven't... I have three job titles, I'm the treasurer for something else, I'm an insomniac, I'm a part-time serving wench, my family is dysfunctional and vocal about it, my housemates are odd, my love life is DOA, my friends are all troubled at the same time and in different parts of the country (inconviniantly) and I've a 101 things going through my own head that I don't necessarily shout about but are not helping with my insomnia and in between all that I occasionally like to have a life... So no, I can't just drop what I'm doing as I'm a little f ecking tied up right now!

'Can you just..' is also the bane of my working life. It seems to be a management phrase where the manager in question has no grasp of what's involved and thinks major changes to a system with over a million lines of code can be rattled out in an afternoon.
Another one that really grates with me is 'which version was this fixed in?'... most of the time my powers of ESP fail me and I have to dig some more to find out what 'this' is and whether it was me that fixed it.

Pinkkitty - I had to give you stars because I say that and I hate that I say it because when I do, in my head I think 'Ok, dying would be worse surely?'! Lol.
I hate it when people say 'It will be in the last place you look for it'....... Course it f*cking will!!!! Coz once I have found it, I won't keep looking!
