I recently gave up smoking and have found (not through overeating) that I have put on more than half a stone. can anyone tell me why and how do I lose it?

Weight gain is a normal side effect of giving up smoking. Probably something to do with the nasty chemicals in the cigarettes not playing about with your body chemistry any more. The best way to reduce your weight is to get more regular exercise - and that will make you look good too.
