Hello , can I tell you what has happened please ?
Not only has my ceiling been leaking all weekend .....
....sniff .....but some thug has thrown a bottle at my bay window in the night and smashed it to bits ....sniff....:-(

That's sad lindapinda , that poor budgie , bless , how upsetting for your aunt . Yes not only the actual upset of the broken window but the practical side of getting it reported , hanging on the telephone , clearing up the glass , and then having the new one put in.
My dog was fine fortunately , she sleeps furthest away from the window and , as I said , didn't make a peep. :-)

Hello bigmamma! Sorry to hear about your troubles. I thought I was having a bad day until I read about yours - poor you.

I'm just fed up because my lovely holiday is over, two weeks at home with my family, by the sea, boys playing every day with cousins, 50th birthday barbecue for one chap, lots and lots of talking and laughing, and now I'm back home washing what feels like the whole contents of everyone's wardrobes and tidying up what mr nutgone should have been keeping tidy while I was away. And didn't........!!

But at least I came home to a house in one piece, so now I'll stop moping about and will send good vibes your way instead! (It's great to be back really...)

So sorry toread your post when I got home from work tonight.
You must be feeling like the pits today.
Is your Son and his friend still with you, or have they gone back?
I think it is a disgrace that your ceiling cannot be fixed until the end of the week! Surely they could find you somewhere to live until this mess is sorted out!
Anyway, I am sure you are glad that you have your lovely dog with you, even though he slept through it! Big softy! lol
